Logitech UE Boom: How can I upgrade my firmware if the app doesn't support the speaker?

It's the 1st edition that came out. I own two of these. Want to connect them to stereo.

Don't know if a firmware update is needed or not.

THe UE Boom app is useless for them.

Recently my UE boom 3 speaker has problems connecting to my PC and also is being selective with what is being played.

currently it will not out put any sound despite it being paired as audio in my PC (Windows 10 )settings

In the past before this major problem it would only play audio from YouTube or anything else that was not a game (pc games) However now it just will not put any kind of sound

My speaker works find with my phone

Ihave already tried updating my speakers through the UE app on iPhone

I have already tried looking for updates on my windows 10 PC

I have tried pairing it while the speaker is connected to my PC via USB for charging and also will not work

this speaker is about two years old it may still have warranty but I am suspecting it is something to do with my PC because before this it was working perfectly fine

My UE boom red light as if it’s dead is just staying on, along with the white pairing light next do it. It won’t turn off won’t pair won’t charge won’t do anything. It is pretty much in a froze mode, any suggestions

Hello, when the charging cord in plugged into the speaker, the white charging light comes on and stays solid white. The speaker will not turn on at all. I have tried everything i have read. The speaker will not come in even when plugged in. What is my next step?

Logitech UE Boom: Logitech UE Boom Power Button has gone wonky

Power button does not react more often than the times it behaves as expected.

I always get a clicking sound whenever I press it.

I have tried to hard-reset it by pressing Volume Down and Power, but I don’t get a reaction after 20 seconds or so.

Plugging it into a Windows 10 PC will handshake as expected and the battery will charge, but the power button is still not responsive.

Sometimes, I can get a reaction by pressing down very hard on that Power button.

That’s why I’m led to believe the switch underneath may be physically damaged. I do not know what type of switch is underneath. I have yet to take it apart.

What else should I try before tearing it down? I am wondering what kind of switch is inside this unit. I do not know if there are other methods to hard-reset the speaker other than pushing Power and Volume-Down simultaneously.

What will I do if my ue boom makes a static annoying sound when it's turned up about half way up on phone but under half way of sound is perfect? Is it the speaker itself or something else?

ur boom 2 was working perfectly until I accidentally Dropped in water about 2 weeks ago, everything was closed and it was for about 15 seconds, after this the music became distorted and drops in and out while playing, connects fine but sound is wrong and plays up.

When away from speaker and iPhone 5 connected thru Bluetooth. The volume will spike without any manual adjustment.

Started having to keep it low so when it does increase unexpectedly so it's not too blast....

Do these units have some sort of over voltage supply protection? i plugged mine into a 24v lighter socket and now all i get is a single blink of the white light on the input charging board.

I received a warranty replacement UE Megaboom speaker a couple weeks ago from the manufacture. It showed up faulty and I am just now able to process the warranty claim again for a replacement. Before I had to disable it for replacement I opened it up and it looks completely different than all the photos on your site and on other sites. Could I possibly be missing parts or is this just an updated design?

Under the bottom cap there is no black plastic shield, just components. The charging Port is almost free-floating not supported or reinforced and directly is connected to the computer board.

My warrantee replacement had major malfunctions and never worked properly.
