Logitech M317C: Logitech M317c and some external devices behave erratically

Hi, I currently have a Logitech M317c mouse connected to a USB hub, and the mouse tends to be acting erratically fairly often. Since I hate the trackpad on this Mac, the only solution I've heard of was to put the dongle into a USB extension cable, but I've noticed that at least one of my external hard drives will randomly disconnect whenever I'm not using the machine, so I'm curious about that one too.

One time, the external drive in question dropped off of the system, and I got a message saying that it was "drawing too much power." Is there any way to fix the two problems? I'm using an Anker USB hub and the HeyDey AD2C USB hub to connect the mouse's dongle, and 3 USB hard drives. Thanks

Logitech M317C: All of my mice have stopped turning on

I have like 3 of these because they're so cheap, but no matter what battery I put in they never connect to my computer and their light never comes on, like they're dead. I took one apart and don't know what I can do from here

Logitech M317C: Why does my scroll wheel now work when hooked up to a certain computer

When I connect my Logitech M317C mouse to my iMac Late 2013 27’, the scroll wheel doesn’t work, but when hooked up to my MacBook Air 2017 13’ or my HP Pavilion DV7, the scroll wheel works.

Note: The mouse was paired to a Unifying Receiver after I had lost the original receiver using the computer with the problem.
