Logitech K750 Keyboard: Changed battery but still no signs of life?

I have bought and replaced the battery with an Maxell ML2032, but the keyboard doesn't show any signs of life. There is no green or red LED in the top right corner and the keyboard is not found by the unifying software. Each of the solar panels gives about 1.5v output when tested with voltmeter and the battery itself gives just over 2.8v (the old battery has less charge and gives about 1.2v).

Is there anything else that I might be able to do to fix the keyboard, I don't want to have to replace it?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Logitech K800: Where can I find replacement keys? (Logitech K800)

My right shift key on my K800 is broken. One of the tiny tabs that holds it in place gave out. I contacted Logitech "support" and when i got through the multiple levels of AI and talked to a person, they told me they don't stock spare keys.

Seems like a giant E-waste problem to me. Its a simple fix to replace the broken key, but they'd rather me toss this in the garbage and buy a new one, but it won't be from Logitech, I can assure them of that.

If anyone knows where I can get a replacement key, it would save some E-waste.

No E-waste recycling centers closer than 75KM away where I live.

Logitech K800: Backlight on/off becoming less sensitive over time

As above, is there anything I can do to improve the sensitivity of the keyboard? It used to be that as my hands neared the keyboard, the backlight would come on, but nowadays if have to physically touch the keyboard, and even then I have to sort of wipe my hand from left to right to get it to notice my hand and turn the backlight on. I'm guessing there's some kind of sensor somewhere that's getting blocked over time?

Logitech K750 Keyboard: There's a key too sensible, can it be repaired?

Logitech K800: letter lower case a sticking on Swedish K800 Keyboard

I have taken the A cap off the keyboard and cleaned around underneath but its still stuck so suppose the microswitch/ contact/ logic gate is permenantly closed. Without a disassembly protocol/circuit diagrame or spare parts available can this be fixed?

Logitech K750 Keyboard: Can I use other rechargeable batteries?

hi

I understand besides the ML2032 can one use other re-chargeables like VL2032 or LIR2032 ?

VL2032

VL Battery Chemistry

A Lithium Ion chemistry that works well in camcorder and rechargeable electronics applications. Batteries with the VL designation have no memory effect, meaning they can be charged to full capacity at any point in the charge cycle. You don’t need to empty the charge before recharging.

VL Batteries:

Have a high energy capacity

Are perfect for camcorders

Can be recharged at any point in the charge cycle

LIR2032

LIR Battery Chemistry

Unlike the other chemistries, the LIR chemisty has a voltage of 3.6V instead of 3V. This chemistry is rechargeable, however a protective circuit is absolutely necessary due to the very high energy density of this type of cell. LIR2032 batteries are frequently used in car security systems, memory backup batteries in electronic devices, electronic watches, and many other applications.

LIR Batteries:

Have a voltage of 3.6V rather than 3V

Have an extremely high energy density

Are rechargeable, but require a protection circuit

Logitech K Series Keyboard: Logitech K810 Keyboard Weirdness

Hi,

My Logitech K810 Wireless Keyboard suddenly started typing weird. As example if I type "A" it give "LA" (both for uppercase and lowercase) and even more oddly it does the same when I type "L" (results as "LA"). Adding on that when I type "S" it results as "S + Enter" and vice versa "Enter" results as "S + Enter". The left arrow gives an "M" and this weird issue appeared the day I came back from a long vacation when everything was OFF (keyboard, mouse and ofcourse the desktop PC). I did try to remove the driver for both the keyboard and bluetooth receiver but it didn't help. I have no clue how and why that happened. I never, absolutely NEVER spilled water or any other liquid on it. Logitech support didn't give any rational answer except telling me that the warranty is already off. Some other letters on the keyboard act weird as well. Does anyone have any clue what could have happened and if there is any way to fix it? Any useful answer would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

I bought myself a wireless solar keyboard which worked perfectly until I poured some drink into it.

I am getting appropriate voltage from the solar cells but the rechargeable LED-indicator doesn't light up upon pressing the button and the battery eventually runs flat.
