Should i replace the ribbon cable or is the re a nother thing i should replace

This makes it hard to highlight passages in assignments or hold down the fire button on a video game as it keeps releasing randomly.

I did this before on a G703, and it all went smoothly. Just now, I tried turning on the mouse and plugging it in. It did turn on, and the cursor was moving as I moved the mouse. But the switches and scroll wheel did not work. I checked my soldering and it is touching the plates, when desoldering the switches I didn’t see any plate come off. I kept the heat of my soldering iron at 350 C the entire time, which is the same temperature I used on the g703, and I replugged all the cables inside the mouse. Can I have some help?
