Logitech G29 Driving Force: Why does one button on my wheel activate all the others and disconnect

When pressing either the X or square button on my g29 as they are the only buttons that work (although the steering pedals and gear shifter work as usual) on the steering wheel. Once pressed it shows as if multiple buttons are pressed although you are only pressing the one and the wheel disconnects and recalibrates. Any help is appreciated!

I have a g29 that I have had since Christmas of 2022 in November of 2025 it started disconnecting randomly and I wanted to know how to fix it so I watched a video that told me to tape over the end of the ground wire of all three pedals and It didn’t work I don’t want to have to take apart the wheel or the pedals again but I really don’t want to be forced to buy a new one

i have G29 that idle for almost a year without any power connected now i connect it to my pc for the first time and it give me USB not recognized, it didn't rotate at startup like it use to, and there is a small knocking noise tok tok tok tok inside the back of the steering wheel. What cause this problem and what should i focus on analyzing the problem? thx

When I have the wheel sitting perfectly straight the game and logitech ghub take it as ~13 degrees to the left.

Logitech G29 Driving Force: Sizes of internal screw

Hi,

I tried to dismantle steering wheel and during that operation I managed to destroy head of one of those internal screws as shown in the picture. I'd like to buy replacement screw but I am unable to identify thread. It looks steeper than usual ones. So I am looking for exact type of this screw. The original seems to be from not very strong zink one, the metal is super soft. I'd like to replace it with stainless steal one.

I am talking about screws as shown here in the Ifixit guide:

This is photo of the screws after I managed to get it finally out after the head got destroyed.

Can someone identify the screw pls?

when I was in motorfest and wanted to fly upwards, my up button wasn't really responding and I realized I had to mash the button if i wanted to really fly upwards. Someone please create a manual. Thanks!

my wheel is meant for the PS5 and when i plugged it in and assigned it as a controller it would work with the home app but when trying to play need for speed it does not work in the main menu when it says press x and when pressing on the wheel it does nothing but i checked the system with laptop and shows no problem and its up to date

Hi Im using the g29 wheel and pedals and all of a sudden it has stopped letting me get full power when using the accelerator only. The only way i can get full power down is by pressing the clutch and accelerator together.

It was working fine yesterday but today i get this issue.

My g920 randomly assigned buttons 1-10 to the A button and i have found people with similar issues saying its a wiring issue. When calibrating in windows 10 it shows no output for buttons 1-10 but they all show when A is pressed. The Xbox button, clutch, gas, brake and steering work properly. Im on a pc using the g920 xbox version.

The water was leaking in my house few weeks ago, and I think my G29 is water damaged. I haven't turned it on yet because I'm kinda scared if it breaks the main board. I'm currently living in NZ, how can I find if it is water damaged or not? or how can I find the logitech repair center?

Logitech G29 Driving Force: When I plug in my pedal cord it cuts off my steering wheel.

When I plug in my pedal cord to my steering wheel it immediately shuts off the wheel. When unplug it then it turn on and work perfectly fine. Any thoughts? Could the pedal input be shorted?

I encountered a problem with the lower arrow, which is that it presses all the time and for no reason. I dismantled the steering wheel and checked the leather that is located under the arrows, but it does not have a problem, so please help me in solving the problem.
