Lexus HS: Loose passenger side mirror

I suddenly noticed about a week ago the entire housing of the right passenger mirror of my 2010 Lexus HS was swinging utterly loose. There is no friction whatsoever. Will attempt this possible fix https://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/to... . . . unless someone else here knows better? Thanks! 🚘
