LexiBook Tablet One: How do I stop my device from overheating?

Even though I only use my LexiBook on rare occasions and for short periods of time it still feels like it is overheating. I would understand this issue more so if I used it more, but it shouldn't be happening with such limited use.

I was curious if I either need to replace the battery or adjust the settings?

When I turn on my Tablet One sometimes it gets stuck on a black loading screen and freezes.

How would I fix this issue both temporally and/ or permanently?

My Lexibook Junior tablet is over 3 years old and I've had it plugged in for a really long time, but it won't turn on. The charging cord looks fine and I haven't abused it, so why won't it power on?

I recently dropped my tablet and not only did the screen crack, but now I am having trouble controlling the volume and turning the device on and off. I believe the buttons might have gotten dislodged.

How would I re-seat these buttons?
