Lenovo Yoga 720: My fan is buzzing.

Most likely, something is clogged, but before I open it up I'm asking for input. So the fan will buzz noisily at high speeds and if I put my ear up to it at normal speed I can hear the buzz. might not be dust because to my knowledge, dusty fans don't buzz. this started a week or two ago. Haven't opened it (yet)

either way, If I open it I'm making a guide.

I'm open to anyone, @paperboypaddy maybe one of you has ever had a buzzing fan? and @oldturkey03 any tips before I go about opening this soon?

Lenovo Yoga 720: How to reset the BIOS password?

I know this has been asked and answered for some other models but I can’t find any discussion for this specific model. I, like an idiot, set a BIOS password and forgot it after not using my laptop for a few months. I can still use it but I currently have Ubuntu installed, and I would like to return to Windows. Unfortunately I can’t do this because of the BIOS password.

I’ve popped off the back cover of the laptop but I don’t know where to go from here. I’m assuming I need to find the CMOS but I don’t even know where to begin, and I can’t find any pictures or guides regarding the CMOS on this model.

Lenovo Yoga 720: Touchscreen no longer functional after possible update?

I have had my laptop for about 5 months now, and the touchscreen stopped functioning after about 3 months. I searched this up on Google and tried all the solutions, but none of them worked. I don’t think this is a hardware issue, as this has occurred to many people after a software update? The screen on my laptop is still functioning, its just the touchscreen. My model is Yoga 720-12IKB.

Lenovo Yoga 720: After open bottom cover a Motherboard part attached to magnet in cover

While doing a SSD swap, I removed the Bottom Cover, when preparting to assembly I notice a part of the motherboard attached to a magnet in the cover

See where the item is missing

You can see in this picture how the part should be (but is actually loose already)

and how the cover has a magnet there (I assume is for cover detection)

After this happened the Laptop is not powering on. Can we repair/re-attached the component? If a new motherboard is required, how can we avoid from happen again? the loose component is almost in direct contact with the magnet once installed the cover
