Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: Where can I find a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro screen replacement?

I have a small crack on my laptop. Aesthetically it's easy to ignore if I can get over the fact it's no longer perfect :'(

The crack causes the touchscreen to behave randomly which has led me to deactivate it. I'm looking to replace this touchscreen with any capable touchscreen.

Is this possible?

Do you have a link to a guide?

Do you know where I can find this part?

Do you know where I can send it in for repair?

Dears,

After replacing Lenovo yoga 2 pro touch screen, everything works just fine but when closing lid, it does not go to sleep mode and when in tablet position it goes to sleep mode.

Would it be a reversed sensor in the new screen? or a software problem.

Any advise !!

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: Did my TouchPad die as a result of upgrading SSD?!

I just upgraded my SSD using the iFixit guide for that ... now I am having exactly the symptoms described in the support question "Is my Lenovo touchpad broken?" which is the TouchPad lets me scroll but both buttons fail to let me select. Since it was working immediately before, and not working during my restoration of the System Backup Image ... well I have to conclude that somehow it is related.

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 not booting

Yesterday while using my laptop the screen suddenly distorted badly in what seemed like an odd crash. I turned it off, put it aside and let it be until today. When I try to turn it on, there is no picture or backlight. The keyboard lights up for ~4-5 seconds, the power button stays on for about 9, and the charging light slightly less than the power button. It continues this cycle seemingly indefinitely so far, unless I hold the power button to turn it fully off. My theory is the it might have something to do with the CPU, but I’d like to get advice from people much more knowledgeable.

As a side note, after several minutes of leaving it ‘on’ the fan has begun to spin. Also pressing Caps Lock does not turn on the little indicator light. Not sure if that helps narrow anything down.

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: Replace yoga 2 pro screen with yoga 13 screen?

I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13 with a broken screen (touch only works on lower part of crack) and an old Lenovo Yoga 13 (which doesn't charge anymore but has a fine screen). The screen resolutions of the two models are the same and I am wondering if I can exchange the screen and put the old yoga13 screen on the new yoga 2 pro 13...

I have searched for parts names and looked at the lenovo homepage to find if the two models use the same screen (which I kind of doubt) but couldn't find it.

Anyone's guesses as to how probably this would work? I haven't opened them yet to see if the connectors are the same - if they aren't is there any chance?

Thanks a lot!

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: No network options, airplane mode greyed out.

Alright, first of all. I do not have the password to this device, it is a family members, or, more so was. My goal is to recover data from it.

I have tried the passwords we can think of, no luck.

(1 Password kinda works? You enter it and it says 'Welcome' before loading for a minute and going to 'incorrect password')

Network settings in the log in page shows only airplane mode, which is greyed out, no option to join wifi or anything. Tapping the airplane mode does nothing.

I'm asking this because I'm wondering if this means that there is actually something wrong with the board.

This is not the original device, the M.2 Sata card has been transferred into this Lenovo due to the Windows Surface Pro 8 that it was in, would not turn on at all. The Lenovo was the only device we had available with a M.2 Sata port.
