Lenovo V15-ADA: Intermittent charging issue on Lenovo V15-ADA with clicking sound

I have a Lenovo V15-ADA laptop and I’m experiencing an intermittent charging problem.

When the laptop is powered off, it charges normally without any issue. However, when I turn it on and start using it, the charging becomes unstable. The charger connects and disconnects repeatedly.

I also hear a clicking or “tick-tack” sound near the charging port when this happens.

Another important detail: when the battery is at 100% and I plug in the charger while using the laptop, the problem appears at first (charging unstable), but after some time it becomes stable again.

I have tried:

- Unplugging and re-plugging the charger multiple times

- Changing the position of the cable

The issue persists.

I suspect it might be a problem with the charging port (DC jack) or internal connection, but I would like confirmation.

What could be the exact cause and the best solution?

Hello,
I have a problem with the laptop overheating causing frequent crashing by the laptop attempting to throttle the CPU.
I want to take the plastic backing of so I can access the fan and such for cleaning in the hopes that the machine will perform slightly better, but unscrewing does nothing to get it off, it seems to be glued in place and I was wondering if anyone here knows of a way I can perform maintenance on my machine without permanently damaging it in the process.

Lenovo V15-ADA: Cannot boot at all; BIOS keeps changing booting order

Hi! So these days when I tried to turn the laptop on, it turned off right after booting and when I tried turning it on it lead me Windows Recovery Mode (it was running Windows 10) and I selected startup repair and it did some chkdsk and then it hasn't been booting at all all, showing the 0xc0000034 / 0xc0000225 errors. I tried booting from an USB drive to reinstall the OS but the BIOS doesn't want to boot from the USB and keeps changing the boot order no matter how many times I try.

After pressing F1 it's shown this, the other buttons don't work, except for ESC which leads me to BIOS and it keeps booting to the corrupt Windows screen:

I have also tried resetting the CMOS, it didn't work. Tried other USBs with different OSs as well, no results.
