Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e: Why won't my laptop turn on?

Hi,

I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e. I got it at the start of the year and it's always been fine with turning on. I've had it restarted and wiped two times. I normally just close the lid and let it sleep instead of shutting it down completely but last night I decided to plug it into charge and 'update and shut down' as my laptop kept telling me it needed to update. This morning I unplugged it but it wouldn't turn on. I've tried holding the button down for ages or just pressing it quick before letting go but nothing will work. When I plug it in the little light on the 'i' in the word 'Thinkpad' flashes 3 times in red. I've also tried different power points just in case it was the power source that wasn't working but it still won't turn on.

Please help asap because I need my laptop back!

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga: Display sensor activates past 90 degrees (tablet mode)

Hello!

On my ThinkPad yoga 12/s1, the hinge sensor has been acting up lately. After sitting at a 90 degree position for about 10 minutes, the sensor goes off, disabling keyboard and trackpad input. Bending the screen all the way around and almost closed de-activates it, but bending it up past 90 degrees sets it off again. The only temporary fix is to put the computer to sleep by closing the screen, and opening it. The only problem is, it does its same thing 10 minutes later.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Tanner

P.S. This model of yoga (s1 or 12) has not been added to the yoga series. No guides are avalible for this laptop as far as I know on this website

A few days ago i plugged in a faulty device into the right USB port of my 2 year old 'Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga'. Afterwards the whole Laptop was without function. After disassambling the back, removing the battery cable and the bios battery, it rebooted but the USB port stayed without funktion.

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga: Fix for a sudden lower quality of sound?

I'm having a bit of trouble with the sound on my laptop - a couple of days ago, I had an odd incident where the computer couldn't play music because no output device was selected. During this time, the mute and volume options both on the keyboard and the screen were unresponsive. Restarting the computer fixed the problem, however, I've noticed that the sound quality has changed. Going above volume level 4 is unbearably loud (was not the case before), and the sound itself sounds like its being played from a great distance away. I do listen to my laptop through headphones, since I live in college residence with two roommates, but I'm confident that the headphones are not the problem, since the sound quality on my phone sounds the same. I did upgrade to windows 10 recently, but have not experienced any problems with it until now. Checked the drivers for the speakers and everything's up to date.

Anyone have a fix, or suggestions?
