Lenovo ThinkPad T400s: How can I fix my flickering screen problem?

I recently purchased this Thinkpad and my screen flickers about every 2 seconds when I’m not on full brightness. I’m uncertain whether its my LCD screen or the LED board that’s the problem.

Lenovo ThinkPad T400s: Lenovo turns on - running loud - black screen

Hi I need some help please! Our Lenovo thinkpad did some weird flashing and then shut down. When we try to turn back on it runs very loudly and the screen is black. I’ve tried removing the battery, 20 sec power reboot, etc. Please help!

We have a thinkpad but not exactly sure of the model
