If I disconnected it then laptop would die out instant. I tried uninstalling the drivers but that didn't work. I also removed all the static charge by removing the battery and holding the power button but that did not work.

I ordered a new battery popped it in but the laptop still gives the error about battery not being detected. During the first boot laptop stayed on for hours but kept showing 100% charge even when disconnected. I tried turning on my laptop the next day and it's doing the same thing. Won't turn on without power cord connected and dies out instant when power removed.

I can't figure out what's going on. Any help please
