Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR: My Laptop Screen Is Undergoing Some Weird Issue

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 320 that is undergoing some kind of issue on the screen. The screen turns all black and white. I already disassemble the whole notebook and tried the following.

Moving or touching the flex cable seems to do nothing at all.

Already disconected and connected all the cable conectors and the problem persists.

Flexing/Twisting the screen, or making pressure on the lower cornes back seem to solve the issue. Sometimes is the slightest touch that fixes it, other times you need to apply some extra pressure.

Here are some videos demonstrating the issue.

https://imgur.com/a/K5GoqHf

My main concern is wether should I replace de flex cable or the screen panel itself, since I dont want to expend the extra cash on a new panel If that wont solve the problem.

Sorry for bad english, let me know if I can explain anything better.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR: Help with Lenovo Ideapad, won't turn on

Hi there

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 320 (Model number 80XS00DJUS) thats about almost three years old now. I will say that I did drop it at one point, and parts did come off, and the hard drive died which I did replace with a smaller GB drive but nonetheless it still worked for a good while. One day it just didn’t wanna come on though, even when connected to the adapter.

I opened it up and took a look inside, everything “looks” fine but obviously something isnt. My guess is probably the battery, maybe the motherboard?

My question is if I should buy the battery only first just to save some money or could it be more of a motherboard issue?

Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR: Burnt lvds cable pin

Good day, So.. I was replacing my monitor this morning and my dumbass forgot to remove the battery, thought I had it removed since the time I ordered the monitor. So as I was inserting the new monitor, the 2-3 pins in the corner went hot red and melted together. The cable is obviously not going to work.. that I have to replace now too, but what I wanted to know is.. and I did turn the laptop back one with an external monitor to check if it was dead, but its not, is that the new monitor screen has a “hot spot” where the pins of the cable melted. It didn’t go burnt-black like the cable, but it received some heat and you can visibly see the small circle on the board where it slightly looks extra glowy. do you think its dead as well? Monitor + LVDS ? or even further than that? Monitor, LVDS + main board, even tho it doesn’t show any burn marks or looks any different than before.
