Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro 16ACH6: Battery replacement not working

Hi, so my battery was having issues, wasn't charging past 0 percent. Laptop worked though when plugged in. I bought a new battery, don't think it's genuine, however it certainly seems to have the same specs. I tried replacing. Now, laptop booted up with the little charge that the battery came with, but very slowly, with the screen going black a couple of times. Also, it won't charge, the battery indicator won't go on(as opposed to with my old battery, where although it wouldn't charge past 0, the indicator did go on). I tried resetting the battery to no avail. Please help, thanks!

Lenovo IdeaPad 7-14ITL05: Won't Charge Past 0%

I had been using my laptop perfectly fine, when suddenly upon, flipping open the laptop, it was completely dead, no sign of life, not even the battery indicator lit up when I plugged it in. I stuck a pin in the hole to reset the battery, and that worked so that when I then plugged it in, I was able to turn on the laptop. However it stays at 0% and won't charge at all. (if this helps, I don't believe I had plugged in the laptop in between the time that it was working fine and the time I opened up do a dead laptop) Please help, thanks!
