Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: What is the maximum amount of RAM I can put in the laptop?

I am wondering what the maximum amount of RAM I can put into the laptop. I was wanting to get a 16 gb stick on top of the 4 gb integrated, so in total 20 gb of ram? Is this okay? Can the laptop support it? What would happen if it were too much?

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Doesnt turn on after I disassemblied for cleaning

So i disassembled my lenovo ideapad 330s because i wanted to clean the vent... i could see it was pretty dusty. Thought it went well, but after reassembling it, it wont turn on.. No lights when pushing the on button or anything. No reaction when putting the charging cable in either.

Really hope someone can help me to figure out what i did wrong..

I basically took everything apart to clean everything, because i thought i might as well while im at it… turns out that was a mistake, should have kept it simple..

Didnt use water to clean by the way, just a brush and a tooth pick.

Maybe someone can see something wrong in this photo.

Thankful for any help

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Unbelievably slow speed to turn on and re-open

Hi there. I bought this refurbished from an online company. Ever since the first week or so it's been unbelievably slow. It takes an age to turn on and then when the desktop has loaded it can take something 5 mins+ just to open a browser or any apps. Sometimes it then works fine, but sometimes even just switching between apps or tabs on a browser can take forever. I don't have loads of apps or tabs open, hardly anything saved on the laptop and only a handful of apps. It's 8GB RAM and core 1.5 8th gen so nothing obvious for it to not be working well. Any ideas would be super appreciated! Thanks, Tim

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Doesn't work unless in charger

My Lenovo Ideapad 330s, which is only around 2-3 years old won’t turn on unless it’s plugged in. The battery percentage is also stuck on 75% and won’t go up when it’s plugged in. This suddenly happened today after some testing with a virtual machine and enabling “Intel Virtualization Technology” in the BIOS. However, this might not be the reason to my laptop not working correctly. Should I open it up and check on the battery, or what troubleshooting should I try next?

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: bright scenes look pixelated and patchy?!

every time im watching a show or a youtube video, whenever theres a particularly bright scene (for example sun in the background) the area thats meant to be brightest goes weird and pixelated and blocky, im noticing this for the first time after just updating windows. any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ive tried my best to explain the situation but its hard to be clear. the bright patches look kind of like very white and blocky, like someones turned the contrast and clarity way up or something. its really annoying.

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Why does my IdeaPad 330 keep restarting?

So basically windows updates and my laptop didn't take it well, I've gone through and I tried to fix it, but when I thought I got it to work, it shut off. ever since then, every time I try to turn on my laptop, it'll flash to the Lenovo screen for a few seconds before turning off and then turning on to flash to that screen again. I've taken out the battery and tried to run it on just the power cord, and I've taken out the RAM to no avail. can somebody help me?

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Odd "tink" noise coming from laptop?

As of late, my laptop has been making the same sound it makes when you do a hard reset on it, which I can only describe as being similar to that of flipping a small, metal switch; kind of a subtle little “tchink” sound. It does this very occasionally, but it’s still enough to drive me insane. Any suggestions as to what this could be?
