Lenovo IdeaPad U350: Why is my laptop randomly shutting itself off?

Lately my IdeaPad U350 has been shutting itself down without any prompt or notification. It's not the normal Windows shutdown, either. The screen just goes black and it turns off immediately. Sometimes it will work for an hour before this happens, and sometimes less. I noticed that if I let it sit off for a while between shutdowns, it will last a bit longer. Any help is appreciated.

im using my lenovo 3000 G430 laptop recently im facing a problem..!

wi fi and Bluetooth in my lappy dont never turns on.

i tried a method posted in the web but it doesnt work (i.e. BIOS setting and turn the SATA to IDE)

curent os windows 7

Lenovo Yoga 710-15IKB: Screen Popping out of the bezel

Hi,

I was just opening my lenovo yoga 710 i5 7th gen, kaby lake(2016, bought it 3 months back in best buy, Black Friday sale) and noticed a small crack sound.

upon further examining, found out that the screen is popping out slightly from the bezel in the bottom right corner(near the hinge) have attached the pics . The left side has no issues. There are no cracks developed on the screen and touch is working fine.

how major is this problem?..should the screen be replaced?…how to fix it?

Also please give a rough idea about the cost of repairing in the lenovo service center.

Any help is much appreciated.

Seems these models now that they are a couple years older tend to break the screen hinge somehow. Would love some help or suggestions on at least where to find a part to fix with.

Lenovo IdeaPad 320: Stuck on startup screen

So I have a Lenovo ideapad 320 and I’ve had it since Christmas Day. It has been working fine until I went on today and it froze so I had to turn it off. When I tried to turn it back on it just got stuck on the loading screen and didn’t move and then I turned it on and off again and it said ‘preparing automatic repair’ but I’ve been here for like 30 minuets and it’s still a black screen

Lenovo Yoga 720: My fan is buzzing.

Most likely, something is clogged, but before I open it up I'm asking for input. So the fan will buzz noisily at high speeds and if I put my ear up to it at normal speed I can hear the buzz. might not be dust because to my knowledge, dusty fans don't buzz. this started a week or two ago. Haven't opened it (yet)

either way, If I open it I'm making a guide.

I'm open to anyone, @paperboypaddy maybe one of you has ever had a buzzing fan? and @oldturkey03 any tips before I go about opening this soon?

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S: All I get while computer is plugged in is a blinking power button

All I get while computer is plugged in is a blinking power button and nothing else at all. Not sure if this is an indication a certain defect. It turns on for about 5-10secs and turns off really really fast then back on again. I am getting no fan spin and no other indications on what is going on. Thank you in advance for your help!!!

It’s on rest mode and it won’t turn on, I can’t restart it because it just keeps blinking no matter how long I hold it down for, I tried removing the battery and then plugging it back it but it didn’t work. Before when it was working it asked to download something and I pressed ok and then it froze on my Lock Screen and I held down the power button to restart it but then now it won’t turn on and the power button is just flashing, please help if you know how to fix this

Lenovo ideapad: Is the Yoga upgradeable?

Lenovo Yoga-900-13ISK2: My yoga 900 wont turn on and the charge light not lit.

I stupidly bought and plugged in a cheap power charger to my Yoga 900. It was going to be my portable back up.

It immediately shut the computer down.

The charging light was NOT lit on.

I then tried to used my OEM charger. The light still doesn't turn on.

I pulled the back cover off and took the battery off. Held to power button for a minute to dissipate the capacitive charge. Reconnected the battery. Still NOT on. Charging light still NOT lit.

I heard that the CMOS may need to be replaced?

I dont think this yoga 900 comes with one?

The manual said the system board needs to be replaced?

It looks like the power port connects directly to the system board.
