My laptop is not charging when I try from new charger I charge but after some it not charge so please help me out

Lenovo G40-30: My laptop isn't turning on, but power and battery indicator turns on.

Laptop not turning on, power and battery indicator turns on, but not the screen. The power indicator turns on for 5 seconds then turns off for few seconds and repeats this pattern. I just want to know if its worth it to repair and how much will it cost.
