Lenovo B475: Internet problems starts occuring around 5 o'clock in the afternoon ev

Hi I'm new here, I came here because I've had this problem for months now and I'm tired that everyday there would be atleast 1 internet problem with my laptop, I tried reinstalling windows several times, trying to reset my router everyday even if all other devices can connect with no problem at all. Recently I noticed that problems actually start to occur around 5 PM and usually in chrome it says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET and in Windows it would say it's limited but sometimes it would go normal again literally for only around 5-10 seconds.sometimes it would be a proxy thing so I would try to disable or change it but the error still appears. I don't know how to fix this if anybody knows please help. One more thing sometimes windows shows it's connected but can't load any page.

Lenovo B50-30: Laptop won’t turn on – need help

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with a laptop that hasn’t been used in over a year. When I press the power button, the light comes on, the fans spin for 2–3 seconds, then everything shuts off. It repeats this cycle a few times. The screen stays completely black.

I’ve tried:

Starting without the battery, just with the charger

Holding the power button to drain static

Removing and reinserting the SSD, also tried without it

Entering BIOS, but it shuts off before I can get in

It shows that it’s charging when plugged in.

Any ideas on what could be wrong or what else I can try?

Thanks in advance!

Lenovo B590: Memory test failure, fix and some questions

Overnight my B590 developed a memory fault.

On boot up, a single long beep, and the machine would drop into the bios. Upon running the inbuilt memory diagnostics, I found that values being written during the test were coming back with a single bit always set to 1.

Did usual reseating of the DIMM, changed the DIMM location, swapped the DIMM with a new module. Same error, indicating that this was probably a motherboard issue.

Ran memtest86 (4 passes) from a USB drive with no errors. On rebooting, Windows started up as usual.

Q1: Why did this work? I can only speculate the memtest somehow cleared the stuck bit on the motherboard. Bad capacitor?

Q2: Is this problem likely to resurface?

Lenovo B50-80: Power + Charging LED come on when power button pressed, but no boot

Let me start off by saying this is actually a Lenovo B50-10, not 80. iFixit did not have this model listed on their device list.

I can get the battery to charge, and I can tell it has over 20% charge as the LED indicator went from orange to white. When ''''I try to power the machine on using the power button I get a white LED from the power indicator and an orange LED from the battery indicator, but no boot. I can feel the CPU getting warmer each time I attempt this.

I have unplugged CMOS and the battery and held down the power button for 20 seconds but this did not fix it. I have tried the bare minimum number of components plugged in (just battery and LCD) and still no boot. I have reseated the RAM. What could be causing this? Is the power button not communicating that it wants to boot and I just get LED indicators instead?
