Lenovo B50-80: Why won't my laptop turn on?

I have spilt water on my laptop earlier. But it's wasn't a lot and the laptop worked for 1 hour after this happened normally. When I tried to access the laptop again later on in the day it won't turn on. I don't know if the laptop is broken or the charger got wet and that is broken instead.

Lenovo B50-80: Power + Charging LED come on when power button pressed, but no boot

Let me start off by saying this is actually a Lenovo B50-10, not 80. iFixit did not have this model listed on their device list.

I can get the battery to charge, and I can tell it has over 20% charge as the LED indicator went from orange to white. When ''''I try to power the machine on using the power button I get a white LED from the power indicator and an orange LED from the battery indicator, but no boot. I can feel the CPU getting warmer each time I attempt this.

I have unplugged CMOS and the battery and held down the power button for 20 seconds but this did not fix it. I have tried the bare minimum number of components plugged in (just battery and LCD) and still no boot. I have reseated the RAM. What could be causing this? Is the power button not communicating that it wants to boot and I just get LED indicators instead?

Lenovo B50-80: Where can I find replacement/upgrade wifi cards?

I just got this model laptop for free from work as they were going to scrap it, I’ve cleaned it up and installed an SSD in it and it works really well so I’m thinking of giving it to my younger brother for school work and light gaming.

The only problem is, it’s limited to 2.4ghz wifi and it would be really nice if it could utilize 5ghz. I have no experience upgrading wifi cards in laptops, does anyone know what I should research and where I can find an upgrade that will fit?
