Dymo LabelManager 160: Why are the buttons typing the wrong characters or input?

I have had my Dymo LabelManager 160 for a while. Lately, it has been glitching in which pressing a certain key produces the wrong function. When I press the L key, it activated the rotate function. Also, the punctuation key displays the number 9. Pressing the delete key activated the underline key. Pressing the O key printed the label!

I even tried a factory reset by removing the batteries and pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then, I reinserted the batteries and pressed power + 9 + backspace. Still did not fix the issue.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you for your help!

Brother P-Touch H107: P-Touch H107: not printing, only blank labels coming out

Problem

I have a P-Touch H107 which is mainly similar to the PT-1010.

Product picture:

All of a sudden this P-Touch didn't print any text on the label anymore. It is feeding out the label when I hit the print button, but not printing text on it (see picture below).

What I have tried

Cleaning the print head and rollers > No effect (actually, they didn't look dirty.
Put in 2 different bale-cassettes to try > No difference / No effect.
Changed batteries to new > No effect.

Observation

When looking inside the device, I noticed there is a small block with 4 pins that can be pushed inwards. I believe this is the sensor for detecting the type of label cassette used in the P-Touch. In mine, one of the pins seems to be stuck inside, not coming out. I am not sure of this has to do with my issue, but I take this into account.

Brother Label Maker: PT-E300 labels come out blank after removal of stuck cartridge

The printer has a stuck cartridge, I removed it. A spring and a roller were found dislodged. I pushed the roller back into its bracket but the spring didn’t go back all the way. I couldn’t see how to stow the tail of the spring. As the head still moved in and out; I trimmed the spring so the cartridge wouldn’t get stuck again. Now the PT-E300 will see the cartridge and will “act” like it’s working. The label comes out blank. I have tried a new cartridge with the same results.

Dymo Labelwriter 450 Twin Turbo: Printer makes a grinding noise when printing.

When printing multiple labels together the printer will stop and make a grinding noise like hair clippers. The gears do not appear to be missing any teeth. There are no labels stuck on the inside of the printer. What could causing this issue?

The labelwriter will push the label out after hitting “Print”, but it will not have anything on it- the label is still blank. I’ve taken off the front and bottom plates in an attempt to look at the cart but I don’t see any obvious signs of one or a ribbon for ink. Thanks!

Got a Brother PT-10 that has worked fine for literally decades, until someone who shall not be named accidentally plugged in the wrong AC power adapter and now it doesn't turn on at all (either under batteries or AC power). I took it apart to see if there was any obvious damage (fried resistor or voltage regulator, for example) but it looks fine.

I cannot find an electrical schematic and quite frankly even if I had one it would take quite a bit of effort for me to fully understand it enough to troubleshoot it. Still, I know how to use a multimeter and soldering iron and would love to get this running again. Anyone know where I might be able to turn?

Watching a video about this product, I realize that the print head is automatically adjusted to the label when you close the back. Mine worked fine, but it no longer adjusts itself back. Do you have a guide on how to fix this?

No writing on tape, LCD works, Tape moves fine, But no letters on tape. Using power Transformer, so there is good power (9 Volts) Tape is new, and I tried others. Brother customer service said if tape is old will not print, not very helpful

When I turned Dymo on it would not respond when I selected OK. None of the buttons responded it only showed LABEL JAM. I removed cartridge cleaned head and cutter & reset by selecting backspace, 9 and on/off. Now sometimes the screen flashes and the label is moving forward with LABEL JAM showing on the screen. The whole thing has gone crazy. What now?

My device is not turning on. I’ve managed to locate that U3 transistor has burned, but I have no idea what it was. I could really use a picture of that area to know the transitor model and how the traces on PCB are going (since they are burned too :-()

When going to print the gears are turning but the wheel will not move unless I pull the release handle on the side. But it will not spin unless I do… I know it works but it will not spin with out holding the handle back…
