And the little piece of paper/fiber that connects the two is ripped in half. However each piece (top and bottom) is in good shape.

How can I retrieve the text messages, voicemail messages, and pictures from this phone? What if I bought a new VX6000. Would I be able to attach one of the sides from the new phone onto the old phone?
