LG G Pad 7.0: My LG pad F 8.0 has glue problems.

So I am not sure what to do because my mom won’t take me to a store to get it fixed, and I guess we’re gonna fix it at home. But I need help. The glue inside the screen is like spreading into the screen and making weird circles and smudges and shapes. I just need help on knowing how to fix it without having to spend a lot of money or do too much work. I know I have to work to fix it but I just need the least complicated way to fix it.

LG G Pad 8.3: My LG pad F 8.0 has glue problems.

Not sure what to do, my parent wouldnt let me take it anywhere to get it fixed so we were gonna fix it at home (i guess we being me, if i found out how) but Im not as good as she thought with technology repairs and I really just need to know how to get rid of the glue inside the screen. Its spreading into the screen and making weird smudges and shapes and I tried pushing it back by pressing on the screen (which was a bad idea, i think) It worked at first but then started to get worse and now it has some weird red dots on the screen. It is quite old but was working before this glue problem. I need to know the easiest way to fix this at home without having to do too much to the tablet because nobody in my house really knows how to handle stuff like this.

LG G Pad 8.3: Tablet suddenly died. Not receiving power.

I was Candy Crushin’ it and the tablet abruptly shut off and won’t turn back on. It doesn’t show a charging symbol, the LED doesn’t light, and it doesn’t vibrate when the charger is connected. The PC doesn’t recognize it, either. Seems completely dead, no life at all. I tried the reset (hold power, volume blah blah). Nothing.

I tested the battery, it’s still good (though I don’t know if it’s actually getting charged when I plug in the tablet.. It wouldn’t matter anyways, there is power in it). I can’t find any replacement moboards for this thing.. Any ideas?

LG G Pad 10.1: Replacing the digitizer, did I kill LCD?

Hello fellow fixers,

This was my first LG product for repair. The tablet worked fine except the digitizer was broken and touch did not work. I promptly removed the digitizer and cleaned up to get ready for the new one. I thought I would check the LCD to make sure it was still okay. It did not show to be okay. Nothing but horizontal mayhem.

I did notice that there are contact points around part of the bezel where the digitizer would be making contact with them. And checking the old digitizer I see what looks like a metallic strip running around it. My question is this, does the digitizer have to be in place so it can make rest these contacts before trying to power up and test it?

I hope somebody out there has done work on one of these things…HELP!!!
