I've tried several things to try getting it on I've plugged it in I pressed the volume buttons and the power button I'm not sure what the issue is

I have planned to replace my LCD display screen, and before gluing it down, I decided to test if my phone can turn on. The screen does turn on when I connect my charger, but it won’t power on the phone when I press the power button. I don’t understand how another problem arises from this.

My power button does not work when I try in the morning after the charge. The phone takes a charge. It will knock off and on and it will take the charger. I just don't know I'm frustrated. Please Help
