LG Stylo 5: Are the screen/digitizers on Stylo 5 & Stylo 4 interchangeable?

I’ve been told by YTer Joe Cox that the screen units on LG Stylo 4 & 5 are the exact same part. Does anyone have any knowledge about this to verify?

I have a Stylo 4 with a great screen & caput charging port, and a Stylo 5 in great condition except for a shattered but still working screen.

Before I go to the trouble to try to remove the good screen (without destroying it) & put it on the other, I want to check to see if anyone else has thoughts/confirmation/suggestions.

This phone I’ve had for years and it’s high quality. But after I dropped it on the floor black spots appeared shortly after.

i cant tell what phone it is i just know its an lg stylo and it looks to be this one but when i charge it. it only turns black and vibrates over and over again every like two seconds. it shows the red led light and every once and a while when i try and turn it on the top of the screen will flash grey then turn completely black and continue to vibrate

This is not a answer just a question. I have a stylo 5 and I had it drop in the toilet. I got it out as soon as I dropped it and it seemed like it was ok. It was a little bit after that it's screen went black and wouldn't turn on. I put it in rice and that's where it is now. My question is what else can be done with it to get it to work again?

on the Stylo 5 has built-in digital analog converter and Dolby DTX:X surround sound and I usually plug it in with my pair of Sennheiser 6xx headphones I have used them on my other devices basically a Samsung Galaxy s6 in this issue has not shown up on the s6 the stylo is messing up the audio signal and making that weird static sound and it transmits over to Bluetooth it's mostly happens in heavy Bass songs that go down to at least 32hz sometimes 10hz I started using my other pair of headphones to see if they issue went over through Bluetooth I am using a pair of bludio v 6 driver per side headphones the issues happens on that too I've been using an application that steps in and boosts up the bass it is called bassbooster by mvm it increases the frequency to make more better punching bass and on the Stylo it makes it distort there is no way to disable the built-in EQ on the phone and I've been trying to figure out how to disable it but I really don't know whats happening.

Look I have a lg stylo 5 and some guy was goofing off at lunchtime and made me loose grip and drop my phone and a black line appeared and it was fine at first and then it decides to screw up like the screen has 100000 finger prints on it I honestly don’t know what to do any help
