LG Refrigerator LFX25976: LG refrigerator stops cooling but starts working after unplugging

LG LFX25976ST/02 stopped cooling several months ago. We unplugged to wait for repair tech. When we plugged it back in, it started working again. This happened 3-4 more times within the first 2 weeks, then consistently worked for 3 months. Now, it seems to have quit for good. How do I troubleshoot this?

LG Refrigerator LFX25976: Bottom freezer leaking and then freezing

Water is leaking into the bottom freezer, and then freezing. This prevents the door from closing all the way and then the whole freezer starts ice crystalling. There is no water lin nor ice maker hooked up. I opened back panel, vacuumed everything out. The fan is working, the drain pan is dry. What should I check next? (Also I could not find specific diagram for the coils and drain lines, plugs. I was going to check for a clog.)

I have an LG LFX29576SW/00. The ice masker stopped making ice. If you hit the reset button, it dumps the ice and refills the tray. I bought a completely new ice maker module which includes the optical sensor. The new one does the same thing. I have no idea what is next except maybe replace the board.
