The evaporator in the freezer is warm and not getting cold. This does not seem to be a fan or ice problem(there is no ice).

It occurs every 40-60 minutes. It appears to me to be more frequent when we go into the fridge or freezer more often. Occasionally it adds a loud thunk/thump and the end of the whirring. Any idea what may be happening?
