My phone was working this morning and I sent a text to my wife. Well after that my phone froze so I took the battery out to restart it and now it won’t even power on.

trying to help elderly family friend that can’t replace her phone.

Is there a way to bypass the dial code as that does not work (*#2663#) to change the sensitivity ?

issues:

infinite tap on single press
can’t swipe/pan as infinite tap overrides
has no water damage
no cracks
no bends

LG K4: I'm having problems with my screen overlay

When I try to upload photos or download files the screen overlay pops up. I go to the screen overlay it brings me the permissions. I gave the permission to the files and it says screen overlay detected I've tried reconfiguring apps.

LG K4: Weak wifi unless next to router

Hello,

I was recently gifted an LG K4 and at first it worked great, everything was perfect, no problems at all.. Then one morning i woke up to a bootloop (Phone just kept booting up and wouldn't charge) I decided to factory reset the phone, which fixed the bootloop but then i have a complete different problem.

My phone does not show strong wifi signals when in fact i know the signals are strong, my laptop shows the same network but with full-ish bars of strength. Its very aggravating. I only see strong signals if i sit right next to the router, i have tried rebooting and another factory reset but it didnt work.

Any help is greatly appreciated, i spoke to my phone network people whos said it was a software issue but it is not.
