LG G Vista: No picture on display.

Hi, awhile ago my my dad’s LG G Vista got ran over. (Don’t ask long story). Recently I got a broken unit on ebay for cheap and wanted to use it to fix the display on the phone. I finally received the broken unit and confirmed that it indeed does not work. No matter how long I left it charging it would not do anything (I did charge the battery in the broken phone and it did charge and hold it but still nothing). After confirming that I swapped the boards and found my self where it would not boot. After disconnecting everything and reconnecting it booted but one problem still remained. There’s no picture! After a little digging i thought ok maybe it’s the charging port board as it connects to that before it goes to the main board. Well i changed it with the original board and nothing. So now i’m left with two options. Either the screen on the broken unit I got is defective or the motherboard is damaged in some way. Which one should I suspect more the board or the screen?

LG G Vista: Touchscreen will occasionally not work

My LG G Vista is having a problem where the screen will totally stop responding for varying periods of time. However, after locking & unlocking the phone several times, it will generally start working again. Sometimes I have to restart it by removing the battery.

So far, I have booted the phone in safe mode, and have removed the SIM card. However, neither of those has helped. Any thoughts?

Thanks a bunch!

LG G Vista: Why mobile is unresponsive when battery percentage is above 60-70%?

Hi

I have a strange problem.

1. Charging light will be on even after i stop charging my mobile

2. When the mobile battery percentage is above 60% or 70%, and mobile screen is locked for more than 2-3 minutes, it goes dead(touch won't work or the force restart)

Both the issues are solved when i pull out the battery and insert it back, it works fine after that. So right now, I am always keeping the battery below 50%.

Phone has a broken screen but the issues happen only when the mobile is charging or battery shows above 60% or 70% percentage.

If the battery is below 60%, i don't see the second issue happening. Couldn't figure out what is causing this :(

LG G Vista: Are the At&t and Verizon motherboards the same in the LG G Vista?

Hi, my dad broke his LG G Vista and i am trying to see if the phone still works. There's no flex to the device so i am hoping that i can put a battery in and power it on to at least get the contacts off the phone and onto his iPhone that is now is using. i am looking at a DOA At&t model on ebay and was wondering. Are the motherboard layouts the same that i could swap the boards around and at least use the phone again if it work? I am going to barrow a battery from a friend to use to do a power test on it so if it works i can use software on my laptop to control the phone but i might want to fix it for fun in the future and this would work as a DOA phone i don't really care about.
