I am repairing an LG G Pad 10.1 for a friend and am having great trouble locating any LCD's or Digitizers for the device. I have encountered a plethora of other LG tablet parts, but cannot find any for the 10.1 specifically. Also, if possible I would like to keep the cost of the repair under $50, because they are fixing this one to avoid purchasing another for $200 bucks. Any help at all is appreciated, thanks.

I have the LG G PAD 2 10.1" i cracked the glass but the actual screen is fine does anyone know where i can order just the replacement glass a repair shop told me that they could buy just the glass for $25 but they wanted $115 to put it in. And they wouldnt just order the glass for me or tell me where they were getting it

LG G Pad 10.1: Replacing the digitizer, did I kill LCD?

Hello fellow fixers,

This was my first LG product for repair. The tablet worked fine except the digitizer was broken and touch did not work. I promptly removed the digitizer and cleaned up to get ready for the new one. I thought I would check the LCD to make sure it was still okay. It did not show to be okay. Nothing but horizontal mayhem.

I did notice that there are contact points around part of the bezel where the digitizer would be making contact with them. And checking the old digitizer I see what looks like a metallic strip running around it. My question is this, does the digitizer have to be in place so it can make rest these contacts before trying to power up and test it?

I hope somebody out there has done work on one of these things…HELP!!!

Please help!! I dropped my tablet on the wood floor and it stopped responding! It won't turn on, it won't charge, and the area near the power button keeps getting so hot that I have to keep it sat in front of the AC so it won't overheat and explode! It was very expensive, please I need help!! Help please I'm really panicking and don't know what to do!

The touch screen mostly works except for in the area of the crack on the screen. Does that mean the digitizer still works? Do I need to get just the LCD screen or both the LCD and digitizer? Thank you, Candi

LG G Pad 10.1: Why is the display flickering and then stops

My mom's Tablet started display flickering and it decided to not flicker anymore. It comes and goes as it pleases is the display bad on the LG G Pad X 10.1. It stopped for now but it was like it had a massive siezure when turning on. It got hot and everything. Just wondering this tablet is dying or not

When trying to initiate a search (Google), the screen just goes black instead of bringing up the keyboard to enter a search. Sometimes, when the screen does not go black, I have to tap the Google bar multiple times for a search to be initiated - extra steps that were never required in the past.

Only change that has been recently made is we upgraded the apps that are on the Tablet.

We have been getting the "aw snap" message more frequently, but is it true that that's a wi-fi connection issue rather than an issue with the tablet, per se?
