Hi, bought this monitor used, supposedly working but with no charger. Bought one and... nothing happened. I tore it down and found a burnt component that I wasn't able to identify (from lack of skill and a little too damage). Can anyone please help out? I bought it for about €20 alongside another monitor, so I'm not mad, but if I can try to fix it for a small price, I'm happy to try, and broken for broken...

P.S. First image is mine, a close up of the burnt component. Second one is from the teardown here on ifixit, to locate the component easier.

While gaming my monitor display went black and wouldn't come back on. Tried on multiple other devices using another cable as well but still no image. Not even the menu will show up when clicking the buttons on the monitor.

Hi all,

Can you help me attempt to save this stupidly expensive monitor? Bought in 2020 so LG won’t warranty. Repair shops charge as much as buying new. We’re heartbroken over here (and can’t afford to replace).

HELP! I would really appreciate any advice on how to repair this myself. See the above picture - Note there are no breaks/cracks in the exterior screen.

I've had this monitor for years (out of warranty) and it otherwise works flawlessly. Would really appreciate a "how-to" or if you could point me in the direction of resources that could guide me on how to do this. Thanks!

I have the 32” model and the polarizer has been damaged but the monitor is still fine. I need to find a replacement one but no one seems to have the right one. It is an ATW type. If anyone knows where to get a replacement please help. Thanks

Everything else works fine but sometimes it just randomly shuts off and doesn't turn back on for 10-20 minutes. Also if I turn on hdr and play fast paced content it also turns off but it does turn back on again immediately. The random turning off hasn't happened while gaming for some reason, it usually happens when I'm watching a video or moving apps around.

Why is my monitor not turning on but beeping when supplied with power? If I unplug it the beeping stops. It is a steady repeating single beep coming from the back right corner of the monitor near the power connection port.

LG 24ML44B: Vertical line started blinking every 7 seconds

Apologies for selecting the wrong LG monitor model.

The correct LG model is 20MP48AB (2017).

A few days back, a vertical line started blinking every 7 seconds, disappearing within 2 seconds.

Please help
