I accidentally tore a spot on an LED light strip. Fortunately, it was on one of the cut lines, so it still works, and I can even get the disconnected side to work if I line up the ends just right.

Unfortunately, it is extremely unreliable. I tried to solder it together, but it's kinda sloppy and doesn't work.

What is the best way to approach this?
