Kyocera DuraForce PRO: Main microphone isn't working.

Phone waa dropped. The next phone call the main microphone stopped working. I assume the microphone disconnected and should be resoldered or replaced. Would like an idea how to get the part and, possibly, how to fix it. Thanks

I have a Kyocera Duraforce Pro that is having some debilitating display issues.

Within a month of owning this phone, it developed a minor graphical issue where colors would “bleed” vertically, leaving long but faint streaks across the display. This issue remained minor and unobtrusive for around half a year, but seems to have gotten significantly worse over the course of the past few months until now.

The entire display now shifts vertically downward, halfway or mostly off the bottom of the physical screen, and shakes up and down, leaving streaks of light across the upper portion of the physical screen where the display was shifted from. This effect becomes stronger and stronger with even basic use, and appears to accelerate if on a higher brightness, eventually becoming unusable within a minute or two.

This issue can be temporarily remedied and/or averted by applying active cooling (like an ice pack or a car’s A/C) to the *top right corner of the screen*, which will slowly but noticeably return the display to normal, unless the phone has been in use for more than a few hours, at which point it will only return about 2/3 of the way.

The touchscreen remains unaffected, and still works as normal even though the display is skewed.

This is NOT a software issue; please do not recommend software fixes of any kind, nor recommend taking it to be serviced. I have already attempted to get this fixed multiple times through the Sprint repair plan that was sold to me with the phone, only to have every Sprint store in the state refuse to repair or diagnose it, and to have Asurion refuse to replace it or allow it to be repaired somewhere that is willing to.

This issue should be specific and unique enough to know exactly what component needs replacement, that is what I need to find out, so I can deal with this fiasco personally.

My wife and daughter have the same phone. I love the durability. My daughter says her speakers are sounding wrong after the phone was exposed to moisture (she keeps it nearby when showering). I was wondering what the safe steps were to open the cover and look around inside. I was thinking of blowing it out gently with come canned air. I can’t find any instructions anywhere about opening this phone model.

I changed carriers on my unlocked phone but was only able to send/ receive text not calls. I had to manually input apn to get my phone to work with TMobile

I actually have the Kyocera hydro model number c6743 the screen goes on n off n I have to push the back of the phone to get the screen back on n hold it for it to stay on but it sometimes does not always work n it gets worse when watching a video or listening to music. Like right now it's fine but as soon as I watch a video or even when texting it goes off to a very faint screen or a black screen but as soon as I find the what I called a sweet spot it goes back on but it doesn't always work n if it does I need to try my best to keep it in the right spot. Has anyone ever had this problem n do u think I can save my phone or is it done for. Cause my phone company can't give me answers n wants to send me a cheap smaller phone for free n I'm not down with that cause I would rather deal with my half life phone.

My boyfriend and I sleep every night on our cell phones, with our work were never home. Recently only on the evening calls his phone continuously makes whomping noises off and on up until he falls to sleep. Also, I can hear all his background noises, mostly his t.v but everytime after the noises every bit of his background noise stops. Almost like he is muting me although he denies that. Both things stop once he falls to sleep. I only have this happening with his phone, no one else's I speak to.

What could he be doing to cause these two things? I thought maybe he is sending texts or receiving texts? The whomping when he is pressing the letters and the silence when he sends? Any clarity to this is greatly appreciated. It really is driving me crazy.

I'm trying to get into my old Event which I thought was broken. I plugged it into my laptop but instead of charging, the light flashes three times and then doesn't come back on.
