I plugged it in to charge it through the computer. It wouldn't take a charge. I bought a new Duracell rechargeable battery and plugged the camera into a wall socket to charge for six hours, which is what the battery store told me to do. The camera's red light comes on to let me know it's charging and when it went out hours later, I unplugged it. The camera still wouldn't turn on and the computer still doesn't recognize that it's in the USB port. It was working fine before it up and stopped. I had filmed a long movie and the camera said that the battery was now low, so I plugged it in to charge it up. Everything went dead. I miss my camera.
