Kodak EasyShare P712: Camera shuts down quickly after turned on, or when I touch controls?

When I turn on the P 712 it starts up, then unexpectedly quickly shuts down when I touch the controls, or try to take a photo. I can sometimes take a photo but it again shuts down, and I have to restart. Sometimes it won't even turn on. Erratic behavior.

Any suggestions? Battery seems fully charged Li-Ion.

Camera will not power on even with new batteries. The green light comes on but immediately goes back out.

My Kodak p850 fell off my desk, and now the body is slightly out of place also the flash won’t close. In addition when I turn it on it turns off almost immediately, I might be able to get one picture before it turns off. There is no guide for this camera on the site. I was wondering if anyone ever had a similar situation, or any advise on how to fix it.

I have a Kodak EasyShare P712. Discontinued. The menu has a mind of its own. Won't go where I want it to go. Won't delete memory (card or internal) or reformat card. Is it repairable. Also need software as Kodak doesn't off it any more. Thanks Cynthia
