Kodak EasyShare Z1275: error LO3 on display screen

camera will not stay on.The lens comes out and then goes back in.Have put new batteries but still does this Why?

Camera is great if it would stay open when you turn it on. Can this be fixed? Please let me know if you would, as I love this little camera.

Do I have to use kodak rechargable batteries.I cant get it to recharge on the printer dock.
