Hi, after dropping my Kobo Clara Colour device, though the screen was not broken, the image became distorted. There were also lines on the image. Should I replace the motherboard or screen?

I completed the screen replacement without issue. However, when I powered it up the screen has a grainy, or faintness to it. I did the Vcom calibration and nothing changed. Is there something else that should be done, or is this a faulty screen?

Been waiting since January for stock to be replenished for replacement screens.

Has anyone had any luck sourcing the screens from anywhere else? I cannot find them anywhere.

I considered enquiring if I could just put a Clara B&W screen on, since I can source those, but from what I gather it won't work.

It's a bit of shame because Kobos common sense approach to repairability was one of the reasons I bought this model, and it's not like the Clara Colour is an old model.

Any help would be appreciated!
