I bought some ceramic knives when I had my steel one sharpened. Loved them—for say 6 months. Then—well, steel knives I sharpen with the steel, and then have them ground. With ceramics—sharpening professionally is $$$$.

I'm not getting a lasting edge anymore. I spent some time with a machete on the sharpener and may have damaged it.

Chef's Choice M115: This device does not sharpen my knives well

No matter how many times I run my knife thru the device it does not sharpen. What could be the problem? I am considering throwing the device away if I cannot fix it myself.

Knife: Chunk missing from knife handle

I have a large chefs knife with a full length metal tang. The hard plastic? handle material has come away either side of a hole through which the two sides of the handle connect. I have one piece but the other is missing. What glue/epoxy/material would be good to form the missing piece and attach to the knife and loose handle piece?

Knife Sharpener: Anyone have a source for repair or parts?

I have a 120 since 2007. Worked great and the sharpening is not happening as much. I cannot find a place, including Chefs Choice, that will replace, repair or otherwise help my device. Anyone have a source for repair or parts?

Knife Sharpener: Chefs Choice Model 100-quite old. Slow to sharpen knives

My sharpener takes many more strokes to sharpen our kitchen knives. The company says the abrasives last a long time. Have been unsuccessful getting them to respond to an email. Anyone know solutions? Is it worth sending in for them to repair?
