Microwave not heating

The microwave isn't heating; it finishes the cycle, but the food comes out cold.

My DeLonghi ECAM 220.22 Magnifica Start is stuck during startup. The automatic rinse never starts.

The issue started after making a coffee. About 5 minutes later, i smelled something burning. The machine became very hot and the plastic support around the thermoblock slightly melted (i checked it).

Now:

• The machine turns on.
• The brew group moves.
• The lights keep flashing while waiting for the auto rinse.
• No water comes out.

I checked:

• Hoses are clean and not kinked.
• No visible blockage/limescale in the thermoblock.
• Wires/connectors look normal.
• When disconnecting the inlet hose to the thermoblock, only a tiny amount of water comes out (when I power it back on).

The basket feels loose and wobbly when pushed in. I have already tried:

1. Cleaning all debris from the basket and the interior cavity.

2. Checking the physical interlock switch; it still clicks, but the error persists.

3. Adding a shim/tape to the basket tab to ensure it reaches the switch.

4. Unplugging the unit for 30 minutes to reset the electronics.

Despite these steps, the "OPEN" message remains on the display. Is this a known failure of the internal microswitch or the control board? Are there specific mounting screws inside that tend to come loose on WHALL models?

I have purchased a new blade assembly with new plastic ring and does not work either.
