Toaster: Internal wiring/splice replacement.

I have a vintage Sunbeam Radiant Control T-40-1 toaster which has unfortunately suffered from a melted internal wire, probably due to poor insulation leading to a short.

I've purchased a replacement high-temperature wire, but I'm a little stuck on how to actually get the new wire back into contact with the heating element. Sorry if the photo isn't clear, but the end element is the coil at the top of the frame which is fed through an insulator and then immediately into the old wire crimp (or at least I think it's a crimp.)

How do I go about either removing the old crimp or otherwise making room to get the new wire where it needs to be? And then what would I use to secure the splice, would I solder it or use some sort of butt connector? Whatever I use needs to be able to survive the intense heat from being right next to the element.

Am I better off trying to source a replacement coiled nichrome element?

Ninja Coffee Makers: How can I get the control module out of our Ninja CE200?

Ninja CE200 coffeemaker. Display crystals are not all functional and I want to alcohol wipe their zebra strip and contacts bar. But I can't budge the button/display module from its mounting inside. It's trim escutcheon holds it tight to the body and won't let go of the module from the rear. The back half of the module pops off easily, but that's no help. To get at the boards and crystal contacts I need to remove the whole module. How does one get it out of the machine? There's bars on either side that it seems to slide tabs into, but bending them clear of the tabs still won't allow the module to budge.

JVM7195SK: No Magnetron Hum Or Oven Light, But Turntable Rotates - GE JVM7195SK6S

This over the range microwave doesn't heat food. When started, there is no light on within the oven and no humming from the magnetron but the turntables rotates and the display counts down. The interior light doesn't come on when the door is open. All other functions work: fan, range light, keypad, display.

I've had technicians come out 3 times for the same problem. The first tech said he flicked a relay on the control card. That lasted about 5 weeks. The second replaced the control card. That lasted about 3 days. The third tech is ordering another control card and the door switches, though he said the switches all checked out. It seems unlikely that two different control boards would fail in the same way. What else could be causing this problem? Wiring/connector? Grease getting in? Power quality?

This unit is under a extended warranty, but I'm getting tired of the loss of the unit for multiple weeks waiting for the tech appointment and for new parts to arrive.

Edit: Here's the mini-manual/schematic from GE for this unit.<!--!

Hi,

My DeLonghi ECAM 220.22 Magnifica Start is stuck during startup. The automatic rinse never starts.

The issue started after making a coffee. About 5 minutes later, i smelled something burning. The machine became very hot and the plastic support around the thermoblock slightly melted (i checked it).

Now:

The machine turns on.

The brew group moves.

The lights keep flashing while waiting for the auto rinse.

No water comes out.

I checked:

Hoses are clean and not kinked.

No visible blockage/limescale in the thermoblock.

Wires/connectors look normal.

When disconnecting the inlet hose to the thermoblock, only a tiny amount of water comes out (when I power it back on).

Thanks!
