But the planetary assemble drops down about a quarter inch and the stationary gear in the main housing slides down with it and creates a gap and jerky movement. Help!

KitchenAid Professional 600: Seems to surge in power when under a small load, after replacing gears

My girlfriend's Pro 600 had started skipping gears it sounded like and after viewing a couple troubleshooting videos it seemed like we needed to replace a stripped gear or gears. When I opened it up there weren't any obvious damages but it did look like there was some wear on a few gears. We ordered and replaced basically all new gears from the motor to the planetary ring gear.

I installed all the parts as shown in the blown up picture of the mixer. Applied tons of fresh grease to everything, after detail cleaning all the old grease before replacing the parts. With no load it runs smoothly and sounds fine except a light knocking.

She tried her first cake mix in it and shortly after it started it would sound like it surged in power up and down. She was able to finish the batter but we're not looking to use it again until we can fix this problem.

Also, the video we watched showed the bushings installed with the flat sides perpendicular to the counter top but the blow up picture shows them parallel. I installed them the way the video showed but it does appear they could go either way.

Thanks for any help!

KitchenAid Professional 600: Planetary Drive head keeps falling out during use

At some point the planetary drive head started wanting to just drop off (fall) - like, into the mixing bowl) when operating the mixer. Why does that happen? Does something need to be replaced? Did a clip or retainer disappear? I could epoxy that drive head to the vertical shaft (the one that sticks down with MANY tiny long teeth along the shaft, but that might affect repairability long term.

KitchenAid Professional 600: Why does my mixer not turn on until I place it on the highest speeds?

I am not happy with my mixer. First off, it cost a lot of money. Second, the top does not tilt backwards which makes adding ingredients very difficult. Over the years, I’ve gotten used to that only because I don’t use it a ton (usually only around the holidays). Now the problem is it will not turn on until I set it to the highest speed and I boy, that makes quite the mess especially with wet ingredients. It will go to normal speed once I turn it back down. I have switched places on my counter to try different outlets and that’s not working. Any idea what could be wrong? I have had the mixer for several years but as said earlier, I’m not using it a lot so I don’t understand what happened?

KitchenAid Professional 600: Lower guide for planetary gear shaft has come lose

I'm not sure if I am correctly referring to part in question, but this piece (see pictures) appears to have been originally press fit in (or maybe welded/attached?) but it has come lose and now I can't get it to stay in place. As a result, there is a lot of play in the shaft... It would help if I knew how it was originally attached. Most exploded views seem to indicate that this is not a part meant to be replaced...
