Currently my headset’s volume wheel still spins but does not register volume adjustments correctly: trying to turn volume down makes volume fluctuate and rise slowly instead and turning volume up is not a smooth action (not the hardware, but software). My headset’s power button is very “creaky” and does not feel like it will last. The former is not a serious issue since I have media keys but disappointing nonetheless and the later concern is something I feel will break down the road making the headset useless.

Kingston HyperX Cloud II: Can I fix the Headphone 3.5mm that only works in Certain positions

My Hyper X Cloud 2 Gaming Headset has a 3.5mm plug that only works when the cable is bent in a certain direction implying that the connection has come loose and can only make a connection in a certain direction. It is plugged into the included 7.1 surrond remote but I have confirmed this happens in multiple ports i.e my phone, computer, other phones etc. This creates a situation where 1 ear is always working and the second is flakey. To solve this I have been bending the cable a using a clip to keep it in the sweet spot as best as I can for the longest amount of time (It never holds). The "ideal spot" does change and requires a lot of playing because I guess the cable shifts around not sure.

The Fix:

The jack is covered in plastic as well as some anti-bend plastic design like layered rings, you know. The cable is also braided which could run into some interesting problems. Does anyone think it would be possible to cut open the plastic and resolder the connection to stop this from happening or not? These are just my backup since my main are RMA right now (whoops). Bottom line I don't really care if I have to cover it up with electrical tape if it works. I really want to try to repair if possible I have a good amount of electronic tools and knowledge but I am worried what I find won't be as simple as a little loose solder connection of some sort.

Well, I have to tell you that I have Kingston's HyperX Cloud II and among them I have to say that the headphones I have are fine. The sound etc. are all fine for me, but the problem arises when I am playing a game. The sound on the left side comes from the right side of the footstep and the sound on the right side comes from the left side.Tell me the solution to this problem so that I can fix it myself. Thank you.

Hi guys my headphones cord is broken. I bought a new 4 pole cable for cable replacement. But when i cut new cable for soldering to board i saw just 3+1 silver cable. Original cable got 5 cable. How can i fix it? Old cable and new cable are here:

Kingston HyperX Cloud II: Right Ear Very low on my PC "only"

Electricity went off & then came back, after that when I tried to complete my work I found out the right ear cup wasn't making any sound "when I tested it it's just very low" I thought it was dead then I unplugged it and try on the phone with the 3.5 mm jack and it's just fine, I also tried it with the USB plug on another PC and it worked, just on PC the right ear is super low like it's dead, I tested all my USB ports and they're working fine, what could be the problem ?

My female 3.5mm jack on the sound card control panel of the headphones seems to be busted and I need to open it to fix it but am unaware of where the pins holding the lid are located, since i want to avoid breaking them. I cannot find any information on it on the web.

I have been using my HyperX Cloud 2 for several weeks now. However, a few days ago, the cable got stuck, bent and the tip of the 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack split in two.

I have ordered a replacement 3.5mm TRRS jack, but haven't yet figured out the correct connections to solder on the jack.

Could anyone offer help in finding these and possibly give some advice on the soldering?

Out of nowhere the right here stopped working so i wiggled the wire a little it gave a little sound for a couple minutes. Then just stopped completely. I couldn't find my receipt so the warranty is out of thee question. So i decided id take the thing apart and try to fix it myself. I got inside and im not sure what to do now. There are no videos on how to do it so i need some help. The wires seem to be soldered in place but im not sure if they need to be connected to something else. Kingston HyperX Cloud II: Hyperx Sound Card not working

The Hyperx logo lights up when plugged in, but there is no sound when the headset is plugged into the 3mm jack. The Cloud 2 headset is okay because there is sound when plugged into other 3mm jacks. My computer doesn't recognize the sound card when looking at the device manager.

I have the Hyper x revolver s headphones with mic, I have the audio working the only issue is the mic. Green is on pole 1 , Red is on pole 2, Blue is on pole 3 .. I have 2 wires left copper and white, they do not go on pole 4, already tried that, anyone got any other ideas ? The manufacturer says it goes green is left channel, red is right channel, blue is ground and white and copper is for the mic, of course they do not tell you the order. This is for Xbox

Kingston HyperX Cloud II: (Wireless) headphones only work out of one ear on laptop.

I have the wireless version of the Hyperx Cloud II headphones. Basically, the sound stopped coming out of the right side of the headphones yesterday. It happened as I was adjusting the volume with the dial on that side. I was listening on my laptop when it happened. I moved to my desktop and tried them, and the sound didn't come out of the right side at first, but after a minute or two, it started working normally. Today, I switched back to my laptop and it only worked out of one side again. I restarted and unplugged the USB driver, which didn't work. I also tried spotify, youtube, and apple books, and the sound issue persisted for all of them. Thanks for the help!
