Kindle Paperwhite (4th Gen): screen stuck (image of a battery with!) despite + charge?

When it’s plugged in (with orange light on) overnight, it still stays on this screen. It does not respond to the power button being held down > i see green and orange blinking light and a screen flash, but it returns to the same screen (battery with ! Inside)

Removal of outer hinged cover: It's got a death grip on the device. How do I remove it, so I can access the Kindle Gen 10 PW itself for possible repair?

Kindle Paperwhite (4th Gen): Kindle 10th Generation Backlight dead

I have a Kindle 10th Generation, but don’t know which Paperwhite generation this corresponds to. At any rate everything works on it but the backlight. Where do I get a replacement backlight? I have an older Paperwhite but the touchscreen doesn’t work. However, the backlight on that one is fine. Can I cannibalize the backlight on my older PW? Will it work on the newer ones?

Despite the Kindle being fully charged, on starting it only shows a white blank screen. There are no images, no menu, nothing. How do I fix it?

For the last few weeks, my Kindle has been acting up. Touchscreen has been behaving strangely - for example, randomly typing a letter in the same location/selected text at the bottom of the page. A few days later, it refused to start up. The solution of holding down the power button has helped, but the next day the situation repeated itself. Now, the reset does not do anything.

The kindle is charged - green light is blinking whenever the power button is pressed, but it remains in "off" state. Would be grateful for any advice.

Edit: After I knocked on the back of the Kindle, it went on and restarted. Will see if the problem continues.

I reboot my Kindle with the help of Power Button, Its battery is also draining and charging normally. Only screen touch is not working.

The device is acting as if the screen is being touched at a particular point. It is causing page turn, selection of books, opening books, etc. Tried restarting, resetting, manually updating software. Sent to Amazon CTDI but they said it was not repairable.

I have tried everything, restart, hold down button, reset factory, etc. nothing will connect my Bluetooth to my AirPods or to my bluetooth earphones. This has taken all afternoon, even rebooted my modem. HELP

My kindle froze while I’m reading (this is a little after synching a lot of books), so I restarted the device by pressing the power button for 40 minutes. Now it’s stuck on the welcome screen. Can anyone help me with this?
