When disconnecting the battery from my Kindle, instead of just the cable coming off, the piece it connected to came off also. That piece was recycled with the old battery. I now have the correct replacement battery, but nothing to connect it into or onto the board of the Kindle. Is this piece replaceable/repairable? And if so, how?

Attached photos: On the battery cable and board photo, I tried to number the 2 important parts [I think: 1. shows where the 'connecter was once attached to the board. 2. is the battery piece that connects the connecter in the second photo 'unattached battery connector'. I don't know how the connector would be attached or reattached to the board or if it is replaceable.

Thanks.

Kindle Fire HD10 (7th Generation): My Kindle Fire HD10 is not charging

I have a Kindle Fire 10HD (7th) that refuses to charge properly. When I plug in the Micro USB cable, it takes some slight angling of the plug to get the battery/bolt symbol to show that it’s charging. However, while the icon shows that it’s charging, the battery often shows that it’s discharging instead. I can leave it plugged in all night, only to find that it’s lost 5%. On rare occasion, the charger will work, but it seems to plateau at about 30% and then goes into the no-charge-while-showing-charge mode.

And, yes, I have changed cables, power adapters, and electrical sockets, and even replaced the original battery with an iFixit — and the tablet still does the same thing, and eventually goes to zero charge. I’ve also done factory resets and hard resets. Any further suggestions?

Kindle Fire HD10 (7th Generation): My Fire HD10 7th is stuck in System Restore and will now not charge.

My HD 10 7th is stuck in amazon system restore 3e loop, and now will not charge. I have tried the press volume and power at the same time. Even tried the press power key rapidly (in case it was just stuck). All attempts have drained the battery to nothing. Now it wont charge at all. Tried three different charge cords and two different plug bases. Any help out there?
