Kindle 8th Generation: Why no guide for this generation?

I'm very curious why this generation doesn't have a guide/replacement product. Does the 7th gen satisfy this one?

Kindle 8th Generation: Why's my Kindle fire 8th gen stopped charging/turning on?

My Kindle fire was a few months old when it suddenly stopped charging and stopped turning on. I tried new plugs and leaving it plugged in for a while and I even tried a factory reset which had at 1st turned the screen on showing the Amazon logo and small letters on the bottom left that said factory reset once and safe mode another time but it then stopped turning on all together like before, now the only thing it does is show the symbol of a dead battery with a lightning bolt and cord but only flashes for a moment when you push the power button and I've even tried doing each button sequence possible but nothing works and before it stopped working entirely I noticed that it would crash saying that it didn't have an operating system or that it was out of memory but I have a sd card in it and I had erased everything that didn't come built into its mainframe so it didn't make sense to me. Does anyone know what to do that will fix it for me?!
