Kindle 7th Generation: How can I easily fix the charging port?

My brother broke my tablet's charging port while he was unplugging it, and now it's really sensitive. I have to have the charger positioned exactly the right way, then I have to prop it up on something (like a pencil), and I have to check on it every 5 minutes to make sure it's still charging. And I found out that its actually losing battery power (last night it had 40%, but now it has 28%). It's really stressing me out and I need to fix it somehow. Is there a simple way to fix it without taking my tablet apart? I know that the problem isn't the charger, because I tried using a brand new one and it still doesn't work. I also can't afford a professional repairman or a new tablet. How can I fix it?

Kindle 7th Generation: How can I repair my kindle's screen?

Hello.

so I have an 8th generation Kindle (iFixit only let’s me mark the publication as 7th generation), and the screen stopped working one day in which I bended it a little bit accidentally. The device still works, it’s only the screen what doesn’t display content properly. I adjunt a video showing the problem, please watch it to understand: https://youtu.be/4z5dJMqSwvo

My question is how can I repair it? Maybe changing the screen will be enough?

I want to repair it. I hate throwing away stuff and this waste culture we have.

I have already tried resetting it. The model number is SY69JL.

Kindle 7th Generation: How can I fix my kindle Paperwhite screen separation?

I went into replace the battery and unfortunately the screen separated from the glass. (Bottom right corner) It's not cracked or broken but acts more like a protective film you'd put on your phone. When I try to push that area out like you would remove air bubbles, these lines go away for a second. So I'm assuming there was some sort of adhesive keeping the glass and plastic film together. Do I have to replace the entire glass or is there some way to salvage this?

I can't seem to find a replacement part on-line. Not even sure if they make them. About ready to MacGyver the end of a 1/8" audio extension cord into it with some high strength epoxy.
Kindle 7th Generation: Kindle Basic 2 (2016) (SN Prefix G000K9) broken component repair

I had a faulty power button on my Kindle. I tried to open it up but while doing so I popped off one of the soldered component. I did managed to find that small broken component. Can anyone tell me what that might be? Would I be able to solder it myself or will I need a professional help would be better?

I have encircled it in the pic below

Kindle 7th Generation: Trying to track "power on" track for Kindle 7

Hi everyone,

I have an Amazon Kindle Fire 7 Kids sr043kl that I’m trying to fix. The power on button does not appear to be working but the power can be turned on by plugging the device into a USB charger. Once on the device is fine but again the power button will not turn it off.

I’ve opened up the device and removed the motherboard. I can see the power button contacts and I can confirm that there is momentary continuity when the button is pressed (BLUE bit on pic). I have tried jumpering the power contact to a ground to try to emulate the action of the power button but it’s still not coming on, so my next plan is to try jumpering further up the track. Trouble is I can’t see where the track goes.

Does anyone know where the track ends up (I’ve pointed it out in RED below)?

Many thanks,
