al conectar kindle (7th Generation) al portatil con cable usb, se carga pero no permite conectarse al portatil, aparece el mensaje "el último dispositivo usb que conectó a este equipo no funcionó correctamente, y windows no lo reconoció", ademas al desconectar el kindle se queda congelado con el mensaje de desconectar dispositivo y hay que reiniciar el kindle para que funcione

Hello everyone !

I recently bought a faulty 8th generation Kindle (SY69JL) to try and repair it.

It seems to be stuck on a book page, and does not respond when touched. The charging LED turns on when plugged with a charging cable. When I try to hold down the Power button to try and reboot it, the LED goes like this : green - blinking green - blinking orange - green... and the sequence repeats as long as I press the Power button.

Any ideas guys ?

My Kindle E-ink display has faded, when I recently checked my Kindle, which I was not using for a long while, I found that the display has been faided really bad. I searched for a solution for this online and found out that keeping it in the freezer will make it dark. And it did work but the solution was temporary. But that gave me the hope that there must be a permeant solution for this. So if anyone knows anything about this, help me to find a solution or if you know the solution please tell me and this will help a lot of people who faces the same problem and I couldn't find a permeant solution for this in the internet so far and there aren't many videos about this so please help.

almost done with book and it is frozen. I can’t turn page, go to home or turn off. With cover closed for 12 hrs it still is on same page.

My kindle is fully charged.

I tried short-pressing the power button, which did nothing.

I tried long pressing the power button, which made the green LED flash between green and amber.

I then tried holding the power button down for quite a length of time (not sure how long), which resulted in the screen turning blank then returning back to the picture of the tree.

I've tried looking every kindle help page I could find and I still have no idea what to do.

The screen has the battery sign with an exclamation mark on it. I charged it until the little button turned green, but the screen remains the same. There are also ''scratch" marks on the screen.

My kindle has been in my backpack for a while so I think I must have dropped it and that is the reason for the broken screen. Please help!!!

I tried to put my screen protector on, when the Kindle (7-th generation) was starting. So now Option "Settings" in Menu is not active (grey) and it does not go to sleeping mode, but goes to teaching mode instead of screen saver. When Restarting it also goes to teaching mode. Computer does not see Kindle. And I don't know what to do.
