2010 Kia Forte EX. The OEM radio powered off, along with the usb ports stopped giving any power. Checked fuses and they looked good but replaced both 15a fuses in the radio and memory set anyway. Still no power to radio and usb ports. Everything else powers on no issues. Currently have an airbag light due to bad clockspring.

2008-2012 Kia Forte: Trying to locate & fix thCamshaft Position Sensor on 2012 Kia Forte Ex

For the life of me I can not locate where the Camshaft position sensors are. I am told there are 2. Can someone please help with a detailed description on where I can find these?

I could not find the camshaft position sensor on my 2012 Kia Forte Ex and there is nothing online. But I found it finally. Here is the camshaft position sensor. And this car only has one. Again this is for a 2012 Kia Forte Ex. You have to remove the plastic piece from the top of the engine and the tube going to the air filter to gain access to the camshaft position sensor. I am pointing to exact part on the engine. You have to remove the plug and then wiggle your way to take off the screw, pull it, and replace with the new one. I used a 10mm socket. I hope this helps someone else cause there is NOTHING online for this exact car….until now
