2001-2005 Kia Optima: My speedometer and odometer quit working?

2005-2010 Kia Sportage: Acceleration, Stalling and Idle RPMs

So a few weeks ago I had drivin to Joplin (100 miles away) and had the car going non stop running around for 10 hours in bad heat. Then on the way back on the hwy I was going around 70 and the car started jutting the eventuality lost acceleration and then stalled (3 miles from my house of course). Fast forward to today and at a stop I go to press on the gas to take off I couldn’t get the car to accelerate at all for 4-5 seconds then it all the sudden accelerated. When I got home and pulled into the driveway and put it in park the rpm kept going to up and down between 500 to 1000 rpm. Up, a second later down and second later up and so forth. Any ideas out there??

So since this post I’ve had the issue pop up maybe 4-5 times. The check engine stayed on for awhile but now is off most of the time. Yesterday I got new tires due to another issue I’ve been dealing with and ask a tech how much change the spark plugs. He took the plastic cover off the manifold and I noticed at the right of it was a small hose coming from that plastic piece I believe you mentioned ( in the picture). The hose looks kind of melted, cracked and is very loose. I can’t seem to find a diagram to tell me what it’s called so I can price/replace it.

2011-2017 Kia Rio: Engine misfire and jerking

I’m having a issue with my 2015 Kia Rio 1.4L (GCC specs). Sometimes when I start the car, the ignition takes longer than usual, and when it finally starts, I hear this jerking sound from the engine if I shift into D or R. The RPM stays at zero, even if I try to accelerate or drive. I changed the spark plugs yesterday, but the problem’s still there. Vehicle won't crank over. I've replaced the crankshaft sensor, checked the alternator, battery, starter, coil packs, and replaced the spark plugs. And replaced the fuel pump. Just won't crank over. Any suggestions

2001-2005 Kia Optima: Optima idles high after Throttle Position sensor replacement.

I replaced the throttle position sensor on my 2005 KIA Optima about a month ago after reading a trouble code. Since I replaced it the engine now idles at 1100 RPM at first start and, after I drive around and then put the vehicle back in park, the engine idles anywhere from 1500 to 2000 RPM. I read online that this has happened to others that have replaced the TPS and it was suggested that they adjust the throttle by loosening the screws and turning the sensor in its mounting point. The screw holes are not elongated to allow such an action. I removed the sensor and checked to make sure that the flanges rested in the correct position and then screwed the sensor back in place. I still have the same end result. I did replace the old sensor back on to the motor to see if there was any change and found none so I swapped the new sensor back in to place. I have changed nothing else on the motor besides the TPS.

I have a 2001 Kia Optima and I cannot find the camshaft positon sensor to replace it. I've spoken with the parts department and they can't even tell me. They gave me the www.kiatechinfo.com website and it show a close up picture, but I don't know what it is. Please can someone please help me?

we have the 2001 Kia sportage 4x4. Replaced the fuel pump, but its seems to not be getting power to it. Where is the fuse location for that? My Husband looked by the door as another site said it was and its not there. is there any other possibilities of the car not running?

My rear wheel sensor needs replacing I have been put off since nov 7 2017, the dealer said they are going to replace the sensor I scheduled a appointment sat in the waiting room for 3 hours with two small children to be told they are waiting for a special tool I’m still wanting and have put 5 thousand miles on the car since I started taking pictures of the miles and lights on the dash that displays abs.
