Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine: How do I remove the Control Locked light which prevents starting

After the power returned from the hurrican, the Control Locked light was on. Tried everything to remove or override but nothing worked. What can I do short of calling a repair man?

Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine: Loud knocking sound in spin cycle?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out this loud knocking sound that happens when my Kenmore elite goes in to any spin cycle. It's even worse when it's in the high speed spin.

I've pulled off the back of the machine inspected the motor belt and pulley. It all looks fine. I also made sure that its level. But it still makes the noise. Any info will help.

Recently, I noticed that my washer will slowly fill with water when not in use. The problem seems to be intermittent, and I think it could be mineral buildup in the supply valve. Any suggestions would help.

Whatever cycle I choose, the light just flashes and holding the start button does nothing. I've unplugged it for 5 minutes to try to re start it but that didn't work.

Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine: F02 Error Code HE3 Elite Washer

The washer displayed the SUD error message, so I left it alone and eventually the message went away and was replaced with error code F02. After research, I found that this error code is due to not draining. I have done all the suggested things to make sure that drain is not plugged up or kinked etc. I cannot find any "clean out" on my model washer. The drum spins freely if I turn it by hand. Is there anything else I can try to get the washer running again? Do I have to get a service technician to come out and look at it?

The door to the washer was unlocked, but the load was still dripping wet. I hit the drain/spin button to spin it out again, but I got the Sud error code. I couldn't get it to clear until I unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. I tried the drain/spin button again and when the spin light came on, all that it did was fill with a little water (I could see it through the window) and make a noise. It did not spin.

I've never had a problem with my six year old Kenmore HE3 until recently. A few weeks ago code FDL kept showing up and my cycle would not complete. I ordered a door lock online for this model, replaced it, and my problem went away. (At least I thought it did.) After about 6 loads of wash, code F11 now shows. What could be wrong with my machine?

Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine: Continuing error codes Sud and F21 after trouble shooting

Bought great working washer from a friend. On first cycle after move it showed error code Sud and then F21. Tried running normal cylcle without detergent. Then tried Rinse and Spin several times. Cleaned out drain. Nothing in it except water carefully collected in shallow pan placed under washer. No hose kinks. No loose wires. Unplugged it for reset with no positive results. Replaced pressure switch. Replaced pump motor. What's next? Throw it out?
